Mia Sepulveda, LMSW

Mia received a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work and her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Texas Tech University. She has vast experience working with children and adolescents. Having worked at the Monarch School, a school that provides academic and therapeutic services to autistic children, Mia has the experience of working with children suffering from neurodivergent disorders. Mia was recently employed as a Crisis Intervention Specialist at New Caney ISD. Mia completed her graduate internship at The Menninger Clinic, a renowned psychiatric hospital in Houston, TX. There she worked with adolescents and adults, many of whom suffered from substance use disorders. Her undergraduate field practicum was at Buckner Family and Children’s Services. Mia has experience working with children of all ages and is trained in Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Children.
